Plenty of parking, clean rooms, friendly staff, well-stocked kitchen, good stopping location, safe and warm hostel.

The rooms were spacious enough, equipped with a desk, wardrobe, and even a small basin. The common area, although compact, provided a comfortable space for cooking and dining. The highlight was undoubtedly the amazing view of the fjord, which added a touch of serenity to our stay. Another great aspect was the availability of a washer and dryer for our laundry needs, free of charge!
While the overall experience was positive, there were a few minor inconveniences. One of the toilets lacked lighting and had a water leak from the WC, which should be addressed ' convenience.

Convenient location for driving the ring road. Clean common area with kitchen facilities for meal preparation. Comfortable rooms with blackout curtains. Ample bathrooms and showers available. Friendly and helpful staff.

Clean and comfortable rooms. Well-equipped kitchen and plenty of bathrooms. Great blackout curtains for uninterrupted sleep. Convenient free laundry facilities. Lovely view of the fjord.

Pitch dark curtains for good sleep. 5 showers and washing facilities. Convenient location for road trip. Fully equipped kitchen for cooking. Hot and cold water in room. Easy to find and park. Swimming pool nearby

We had a fantastic stay at a hostel in Hvammstangi. The location was perfect, right in front of a beautiful lake. The rooms were clean and cozy, with comfortable bunk beds. The showers were great and the kitchen facilities were well-stocked. We enjoyed the friendly staff and the free coffee. I highly recommend this hostel for a safe and warm stay in Hvammstangi.

The location of the hostel was great, with beautiful views of the lake. The rooms and common areas were clean and well-maintained. The showers were also in working condition and provided a good water flow.
There were several negative aspects of my stay. there was a lack of staff presence, which made it difficult to get information or assistance when needed.
